Are you a big fan of the flat themes? Qogir GTK theme is based on Arc with elegance. It offers an extremely modern look with a simpler color scheme that makes everything look clean. The best part is, the theme offers a variety of colors (dark, light and standard). Feel free to enjoy the theme to the fullest!

Prerequisites
Qogir is a GTK theme. That’s why you have to make sure that your system contains the GTK theme engines and other dependencies.
Run the following command(s) according to your Linux distro –
- Ubuntu
sudo apt install gtk2-engines-murrine gtk2-engines-pixbuf git
- Debian
sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine gtk2-engines-pixbuf git
- Fedora
sudo dnf install gtk-murrine-engine gtk2-engines git
- OpenSUSE
sudo zypper install gtk-murrine-engine gtk2-engines git
- Arch Linux
sudo pacman -S pacman -S gtk-engine-murrine gtk-engines git
- Generic Linux instruction
Get the following packages for your system –
gtk2-murrine-engine or gtk-engines-murrine git gtk2-engines-pixbuf or gtk2-engines
Getting Qogir
Grab the theme from GitHub –
git clone https://github.com/vinceliuice/Qogir-theme.git
Run the installation –
./Install
Qogir also offers a number of other installation options. Run them according to your needs.
- Enable GNOME support
./Install -m gnome
- Square window buttons
./Install -s
- Enable Nautilus background
./Install -i
- Install system-wide
sudo -s ./Install -d /usr/share/themes
- Color variation
# Light ./Install -c light # Dark ./Install -c dark # Standard ./Install -c standard
Enabling Qogir
Look for “themes” or “appearance” in the system settings of your distro.
