Microsoft Team suffered a fall but got up

Microsoft Team suffered a fall this week in Europe. However, the failures occurred only in the morning hours. The services of the tool were restored normally during the course of the day. Microsoft Teams is Microsoft’s document sharing, chat, and video collaboration tool. The crash coincided with the access of thousands of workers to the service. Users were trying to work remotely from their homes. As an alternative in the midst of the current Coronavirus pandemic.

The COVID-19 forced thousands of users around the world to use Team. Or similar teleworking tools. Thanks to this the tool had a sudden increase of users. This was probably the reason for the difficulties. The European users who used Team on March 16th reported the inconvenience. The tool presented problems with file sharing. Subsequently, Microsoft expressed awareness of the situation. Through Teams’ Twitter account they claimed to be aware of the problems and were investigating them. Also, the company asked for “patience”, until a solution could be found.
