First step

Second step
Download MI Flash Tool. MI Flash is the tool you will use to flash the ROM. You can download it by following this link:
Third step
Download the ROM for your device, you can do it from
Xiaomi Firmware Updater, select the model of your device and the ROM you want to download. Remember that the ROM must indicate that it is for Fastboot otherwise it will not work. Then extract the file with WinRAR
Fourth step
Unzip the ZIP file of MI Flash Tool. After that, run MI Flash Tool as administrator. Then go to the driver’s tab and press install.
Fifth step
Then press Select to choose the directory where the ROM is, finally press ok.
Sixth step
Shut down your phone manually, and hold Volume down key and Power button to enter Fastboot mode. After that press the refresh button.
Finally, choose a mode between clean all, save user data, or clean all and lock. I recommend clean all and lock in case you just want to upgrade and not make any more modifications to your device in the future. This option will also lock the Bootloader.
Now press flash and automatically the process will start, after a few minutes the phone will start and you can use your updated device. Enjoy!
