Creating an image as wallpaper for your phone or computer can be a good experiment. In this post, we will show how to generate images with MidJourney using your Android device. ChatGPT may be the most popular AI tool, but OpenAI is not the only AI company. When it comes to images, what you can achieve with Midjorney is more impressive than its OpenAI counterpart, Dall-E2. It does require a bit more effort, though. In any case, as you’ll see, it only takes a few minutes and costs you nothing.
How to generate images with Midjourney from your phone
To generate images using Midjourney, you must first install the Discord app on your Android phone, as the tool does not have its website or app to use. In other words, everything happens from the Discord server through text commands that you must type.
First step
Download and install the Discord app on your Android device. You can do so by following the link below:

Then once you have installed it registers using an email or phone number. Then log in.

After that, in the left side menu click on the “+” and at the bottom click on “Join the server” and type “Midjourney”. You can also access it directly by clicking on the following link to the Midjourney server and logging in with your user:

Then go to one of the “newbies” bot channels. Look at the list of channels created within the server that you will see in the top left menu and enter any that appear under “Newcomer rooms”, they are the ones used to request images. The name of the channels is similar to “newbies-XXX”, where XXX is a number (e.g. “newbies-106”).

Next, type /imagine and then whatever you want. Remember that this must be typed at the bottom of that channel where you will see a white square where you enter text. That is where you have to write the description of what you want.

Then write next what you want to be generated. The more precision and clarity you have, the better the results will be. The first time you do this you will have to agree to the terms of service.
Since the channels are public, your requests will be mixed with those of other users, so you will have to be careful not to miss the generated images.

Finally, take a look at four photos created by Midjourney to see if you like any of them. Remember that by default they are assigned a number from 1 to 4 depending on their position, which will allow you to add more orders:
