How to activate God Mode in Windows 11

Hello, how are you? It appears that Windows 11 will remove the God mode. Indeed, this was the impression I had during some moments of the Preview phase. However, this was not the case. In fact, we can use it immediately. If you don’t know what it is and what it is for, this post is for you. God Mode is a Windows feature that few know about or have tried. You could say that it is a little known feature. Certainly, it already existed in Windows 10. However, for a while, it was doubted that Microsoft would implement it in Windows 11. It is a really useful option. However, it is hidden, and you have to go through a series of steps to get it.

How to activate God Mode in Windows 11

The truth is that activating God mode in Windows 11 is much easier than you might think. Indeed, with that name, it might be more complicated to configure. On the contrary, it is a simple procedure to carry out. Let’s see how to do it:

• First, we go to the Windows desktop. Now, in an empty area, right-click the mouse. This action will display the context menu. Consequently, click on New>Folder.

• Now click on the newly created folder to assign a new name.
• Then you have to rename the folder with the following value: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} 
• After entering the name, press Next to set the new value.

• Below, you can see that the folder name has disappeared.

• Then double-click on it to see all the available options. We will go into more detail later.

What can we do with Windows 11 God Mode?
