Hi. How are you? Microsoft has just announced that the next major update will be called Windows 10 November 2019 Update. As it has this name, it is a major character update. However, at the level of novelties, we have a minor character update. The new things that it brings, do not position it to the same level that the update of May or October 2018. But, it does serve as a preparation for the next major update that will come in early 2020.
Windows 10 November 2019 update. Some minors novelties.
The first thing you need to know is that this new update will share cumulative updates with Windows 10 May Update. For that reason, you could say that it is a continuation of the previous update, and the news will not be many. The main objective of this update is to improve the stability and performance of the system. Additionally, it aims to optimize how the instructions will be processed by the CPU. Also, the system of rotation of the different nuclei of the processor has been increased. This will directly benefit the Intel users, causing an improvement in their autonomy.
Intel users. The big beneficiaries.
For now, only users of Intel processors with Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 and 3.0 technology will benefit. Certainly, Microsoft already supported this technology. But this update will include optimizations related to the way the instructions are distributed to those nuclei. The Intel processors that have such technology are all Intel Core i5 and i7. Specifically, in addition to the Intel Core X-Series, Inte processors will also benefit from this technology. The processors that have this technology are all Intel Core i5 and i7.
In the minor improvement section, we will also have improvements in system notifications energy efficiency and battery life. As mentioned, this update serves as a preparation for the next major update to come in early 2020. This confirms Microsoft’s new policy of releasing only one major update. This is to avoid disasters such as last year’s Windows 10 October Update.
Personally, I recommend that you postpone this update and stay in the April update. As time goes by, we will see how effective the performance improvements are. In addition, we will be able to prevent possible errors that sometimes come with these updates. All right, that’s it for now.
